Prof. Marcello La Rosa, CEO and Co-Founder

A professor of Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, Marcello has over 15 years of experience in the fields of business process management and process mining. He has executed R&D projects funded by the Australian Research Council and other funding schemes, totalling over AUD 28M in grants. Marcello has delivered consultancy, training, and strategic advice to hundreds of practitioners in Australia and Europe. He’s also authored over 180 scientific publications, including a textbook used in 250+ universities and a MOOC series taken by 25k+ participants. Marcello has led Apromore since its inception in 2009.

Prof. Marlon Dumas, Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder

Marlon is a professor of Information Systems at the University of Tartu. For the past two decades, he’s conducted research and delivered business process management and process mining consultancy. He’s executed R&D projects funded by the European Research Council, the Australian Research Council, the US Army Research Lab, and multinational companies including SAP, Microsoft, and Swedbank. His research has led to 200+ scientific publications, 10 US and EU patents, and a textbook used in 250+ universities. He’s contributed core components of the Apromore product since 2011.

Dr Simon Raboczi, Chief Software Architect and Co-Founder

Simon is a software engineer with over 20 years of professional experience, including ten years developing the Apromore platform. Between 2002 and 2005, Simon led the development of the Tucana Knowledge Store, which was acquired by Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2005. He then joined the University of Queensland, where he contributed to several R&D projects and completed a PhD in computer science. Simon is co-author of a dozen research papers and co-inventor in two US patents. Simon leads the architectural design of the Apromore platform.

Joey Khalid, VP of Partnerships and Corporate Development

Joey leads Partnerships and Corporate Development for Apromore and joined us from Salesforce, where he spent the past 6 years leading the Company’s hyperautomation strategy, including leading Apromore’s Series B. Joey brings over 15 years of experience in law (Wilson Sonsini, Kirkland & Ellis), investment banking (Goldman Sachs), and technology leadership (MuleSoft, IFTTT) and has been responsible for dozens of tech partnerships, investments, and acquisitions in his career. Joey adopts a “beginner’s mindset” when tackling new problems and runs toward uncertainty. In his role at Apromore, Joey is responsible for leading Strategic ISV Partnerships and all Corp Dev activities.

Amy Perryman, Director of Operations

Amy is responsible for the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of Apromore including overseeing human resources, procurement, and finance. Accountable for leading Apromore towards optimized operational performance, Amy brings a practical, technology-driven approach to operations by leveraging her in-depth experience within the tech, SaaS and legal industries. With tertiary degrees in information systems, law and psychology, Amy never shies away from personal development and believes it is a key component to ensuring she is adaptive and successful at building processes to meet the fast-evolving operational needs and strategic goals of Apromore.

Tam Ellis, Global Marketing Director

With over 25 years of technology solutions marketing experience, Tam has helped nearly 100 businesses connect with customers, tell their stories and reach their goals. Specializing in complex enterprise solutions, she helps buyers understand product differences and learn new techniques to make their jobs easier and positively impact the business. As the head of marketing, she guides conversations with thought leaders, analysts, partners, and customers to explain the benefits of process mining and Apromore's unique value proposition.

Edward Applebaum, Head of Sales – AMER

Edward joins Apromore as Head of Sales for the Americas, bringing with him a wealth of experience including successful sales strategy development, revenue building for early-stage start-ups and established corporations and demonstrating professional and cultural adaptability. Having worked within a large range of channels, markets, and enterprises, he brings an abundance of specialised skills including sales team leadership, global account management, business development, sales process and operations.

Michael Ritterman, Head of Sales – APAC

As Apromore’s Head of Sales for the APAC region, Michael leverages his many decades of experience and success in sales and go-to market strategies. He provides extensive expertise in information and communications technology and will fast track Apromore's expansion across the APAC region as well as across the whole globe. With his strong customer focus, Michael is driving new business development while ensuring all Apromore’s customers are experiencing substantial value.

Andrew Fenton, Head of Sales – EMEA

With over 20 years’ experience, Andrew is a proven international sales executive with successful track record in defining and executing complex sales strategies. His career has encompassed diverse range of clients including global insurance companies, asset managers, private equity firms, financial technology companies and both investment, corporate and retail banks. He joins Apromore to use his skills and abilities to help customers accelerate time to value by blending business knowledge and next generation technology to deliver better business outcomes.

Ron van Rooij, Global Pre-Sales Director

Ron is a highly experienced Pre-Sales Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in business process management. He uses these experiences to set up a team of Pre-Sales specialists, helping Apromore’s customers gain insight into their businesses through the power of process mining. Ron works closely with the sales and marketing departments to ensure organizations understand the value Apromore offers and to create new go-to-market strategies.

Mark McGregor, Head of Product Marketing & Strategy

With over 25 years’ experience in enterprise architecture, business process management and process modelling; Mark is a tireless advocate of value-driven digital transformation and a thought leader in the fields of process mining, business process management, and enterprise architecture. Over the years, Mark has earned a strong reputation for helping SaaS companies navigate through complex customer requirements and to drive growth. At Apromore, Mark is driving Apromore's product marketing efforts and contributing to our business strategy.

Steve Nola, Chairman of the Board

Steve is an ardent supporter of startups and young organisations that will become the core drivers of ethical innovation, profitable growth, and job creation in the Digital Age. Passionate about mentoring young CEOs and helping them build, scale, and lead market transitions. Steve shares his experience and insights from lessons he has learned from his years at the helm of NTT Ltd. in Australia. Core to this is his ethos that building a strong corporate culture is critical for successful execution, and that ongoing learning is fundamental to personal, professional, and organisational development. Steve joins Apromore to help guide, grow and strategically develop the business.

Gregor Greinke, Strategic Advisor

Gregor is CEO and founder of GBTEC Software AG, one of the most successful business process management (BPM) companies in Europe. He has more than 20 years of experience developing cloud-based BPM software and practical BPM methods. He founded his first BPM company at a young age, after completing a master’s degree in business informatics and economics. After working as Managing Director for one of the largest BPM software vendors, Gregor founded his second BPM company, GBTEC, which has gained over 800 customers. Gregor joined Apromore as a strategic advisor and technology development partner through Apromore's Series A investment.

Liam Doyle, Board Observer

Liam Doyle is the SVP and GM of MuleSoft Automation, leading Composer, MuleSoft for Industries, Salesforce Cross-Cloud Initiatives, and the newly launched MuleSoft RPA. Liam brings over 15 years in product leadership experience to MuleSoft, including a decade at Salesforce, with a focus on taking industry-disrupting technology solutions from zero to one. Prior to MuleSoft, Liam was SVP of Enterprise Product Strategy at Pardot and SVP of Product Management for Marketing Cloud, where he led the development and rapid growth of Salesforce’s Advertising & Data portfolio.
