Apromoreans lead process mining research at CAiSE Conference 2022

Congratulations to Apromoreans Volodymyr Leno and Manuel Camargo, for their achievements at CAiSE Conference 2022.

Volodymyr has won the Best PhD Award for his research on Robotic Process Mining, a topic at the intersection of process mining with RPA. This effort resulted from a joint PhD between the University of Melbourne and the University of Tartu under the supervision of Marcello La Rosa, Marlon Dumas, and co-supervisors.

Manuel was recognized as a finalist for the best PhD paper award for his research, Learning Accurate Business Process Simulation Models from Event Logs via Automated Process Discovery and Deep Learning. Manuel’s work comes from his joint PhD between the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science and the Universidad de los Andes – Colombia, supervised by Marlon Dumas and other co-supervisors. Combining process mining and deep learning has a positive impact on the acceleration of BPM.

Both Volodymyr and Manuel contribute to process mining algorithms in Apromore, helping customers achieve the full potential of mining in an easy-to-use solution.
