Apromore Names Steve Nola Chairman of the Board

 

Industry veteran and award-winning executive leader joins Apromore at critical scale-up phase 

 

Melbourne, Australia – 16 December, 2022– Apromore, a leading provider of value-driven process mining software, has appointed Steve Nola as Chairman of the Board, effective December 12, 2022.    A proven leader with an award-winning track record for helping companies build, scale and lead market transitions, Nola joins Apromore’s board to help guide the company’s strategic growth and provide oversight.  

“This has been a remarkable period of achievement and growth for Apromore as we continue to deliver sustainable business value to our customers,” said Marcello La Rosa, Apromore CEO and Professor at the University of Melbourne. “We are thrilled to have Steve Nola join our board and we look forward to working with him to scale and support our growth trajectory.”   

Apromore recently closed a Series B funding round of USD $10.3 million (AUD $15.8 million) with investment from Salesforce and GBTEC, a Main Capital Partners-backed company. The investment will fuel expansion in the US and UK, and accelerate the development of the product towards AI-augmented process optimization.

Since starting his career as an electrical engineer, Steve has been at the forefront of the local and international IT industry. Steve joined Australian IT distribution business Com Tech Communications, which was later acquired and rebranded to Dimension Data where he served as CEO until its acquisition by NTT Group. Steve served as CEO for Australia NTT Ltd. until he retired in Sept. 2020.
